The Maryland Green School Awards Program is a holistic, integrated approach to authentic learning that incorporates local environmental issue investigation and professional development with environmental best management practices and community stewardship. All Maryland schools pre K-12, public, charter and private are eligible. Applications are non-competitive and are accepted each year in the spring. Important Dates for Green School Applications:
February 27, March 12 and March 25 3:45pm-4:30pm: Although not required for the 2013-2014 Green School Application, The Mid-Atlantic Sustainable School FieldScope(MASS-FS) project will be conducting three webinars. Anyone interested in participating - or who cannot participate but needs assistance - should contact Cassie Doty at firstname.lastname@example.org.
