Wetlands
Wetlands provide vital habitat for plants and animals, including supporting many species of wildlife, from juvenile fish and crabs to beneficial insects, amphibians and waterfowl. Wetlands also act as "kidneys" for the Chesapeake Bay, filtering and controlling the water that passes through them.
