Mini-grants & Stipends
MAEOE will be offering mini-grants again this year for teacher stipends, transportation to nature-based field trips, student action projects, and professional development. Applications will open on September 14!
Fall Info Sessions
The information session about Maryland Green Schools will be recorded and shared on our website and on the portal so you can watch it at your convenience. If you want to follow up with questions or would like assistance, you will be able to schedule office hours with MAEOE staff.
All Staff Awareness
A short, recorded presentation on "What It Means to Be a Green School" will be available this year. You can play this at an all-staff meeting to meet the application requirement for Staff Awareness.
MAEOE PD Series
Starting in September and running through February, MAEOE will be offering a variety of virtual PD sessions to help schools meet the application requirement for Environmental PD.

We will be making the data from our portal public on on our Green Schools web page! At the PAD, you can search by county and application objective to view all Past Application Data!
Revised Green Center Application
We are in the process of finalizing a new and more streamlined online Green Center application. More details to come soon!
Simplified Metrics Survey
We will be updating the metrics survey to make it easier for schools to complete. We are also providing more complete directions in the application itself on what is required for each objective. This will make it easier for you to complete your application! Updates are in progress and will be completed before the start of the school year.
