Maryland Green Schools and Green Center Announcement

This Earth Day we celebrate reaching a milestone of reaching 702 Schools, 40% of the schools in our state!! We also celebrate our Green Centers! There are now 42 Green Centers throughout the state providing local support to schools including programs aligned with curriculum, student environmental activities, and professional development for teachers. They are important partners in a school’s sustainability planning and implementation.
